What do I need before I create my first email?

A project. Create one from your dashboard and run the short onboarding, which asks for your brand materials, colours, typography, and tone of voice. Once the project exists, everything you design inside it inherits that brand automatically.

How do I create an email?

Open a project and choose Create new email, or start from a blank email on the Templates screen. You land in the Builder, where you paste or describe your campaign copy and Bardiah designs the email around it.

Do I need design skills?

No. You describe what the email is for and Bardiah handles layout, hierarchy, spacing, and styling using your brand. You refine it by asking for changes in plain language.

How long does the first email take?

Onboarding takes a few minutes, and the first design usually returns in under a minute. Refinements are faster because your brand is already loaded.

What counts as brand materials?

Your logo, a brand book or style guide as a PDF, screenshots of past emails or your website, product photography, and any written notes on tone. Bardiah reads these directly rather than guessing from a colour picker.

Where do I upload them?

During project onboarding, or later from the Assets panel on the left of the Builder. Anything you add there becomes available to every email in that project.

Does Bardiah remember my brand between emails?

Yes. Your palette, typography, and the art direction it settles on are stored on the project, so the second email looks like it came from the same brand as the first.

I uploaded new materials, will old emails update?

Existing designs stay as they are, so nothing you already approved changes underneath you. The next time you ask for a change in the Builder, the new materials are pulled in.

Why does my email look generic?

Almost always because the project has no brand materials, only a colour or two. Upload the logo and a brand book or a few real examples of your existing emails, then ask for a redesign.

Are there pre-made templates?

No, and that is deliberate. Bardiah designs each email around your brand and your copy instead of dropping you into someone else's layout, so you start blank and describe what you need.

Can I reuse a design I liked?

Yes. Open the earlier email, and in the Builder ask for the same structure with the new copy. Because the design lives in the project, Bardiah keeps the composition and swaps the content.

Can I go back to an earlier version?

Yes. Every generation is saved. Open the History panel in the Builder to preview earlier versions and restore any one of them.

How do I ask for a change?

Type it in the chat, in plain language. "Make the headline bigger", "move the button above the image", "use a warmer background" all work. The preview updates when the new version is ready.

Will it rewrite my copy?

No. Pasted copy is preserved exactly as written unless you explicitly ask for new wording. Bardiah is a design tool first.

Can I edit text directly instead of asking?

Yes. Click into the text in the preview and type. Direct edits are kept when you next ask for a design change.

Ask again, more specifically, naming the element you mean ("the CTA button", "the footer"). If it still does not change, restore the previous version from History and rephrase.

How do I see the email on a phone?

Switch the preview to the mobile width using the device toggle above the canvas. Emails are built responsive by default.

What happens when I hit my monthly email limit?

Generation pauses and the app tells you plainly that the allowance is used, with a link to upgrade. Everything you already designed stays available and exportable.

You can create one project, design one email per month, and make three refinements per month. No card is required, and you can upgrade whenever you need more.

How do I change plans?

On the Billing screen. Each completed payment is listed with its date and amount, and the customer portal link gives you full invoices and payment method changes.

Use the cancel option on the Billing screen. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, then move to the free plan.

Export it as HTML, which you paste into a code or custom HTML block in your sending tool, or as an .eml file, which opens directly in a mail client for a final test send.

Does Bardiah send my campaigns?

No. Bardiah designs the email, and your existing sending platform delivers it. You can connect Mailchimp or Klaviyo and push designs straight in as a draft campaign or template, or export clean HTML for any other tool.

Will the design survive the paste into my email tool?

Yes. The export is table-based, inline-styled HTML, the format email clients expect. Paste it into a raw HTML block rather than a rich text editor, which can strip styles.

Should I send a test first?

Always. Export the .eml, open it in your own inbox, and check it on a phone before you send to a list.

How do I change my password?

On the Security tab of your Account screen. You confirm your current password before a new one is accepted.

Who can see my brand materials?

Only you and the people you invite to your workspace. Your uploads are stored privately and are not used to design other customers' emails.

How do I delete my account?

Ask us from the Account screen, or email support. Deletion runs after a short grace period so an accidental request can be undone.
